Aye, JGK. When things are quiet here, I regularly look at that site as well as DamnLOL. Highly recommended.

FPMSL
"A bus driver in Auckland refused to let Prime Minister Julia Gillard on board a bus for leaders at the Pacific island leaders' forum last week and told her she must ride with the spouses instead.
The incident occurred last Thursday when the leaders and their partners were being driven in separate buses from Sky City hotel to the waterfront for security reasons."

I remember asking KiwiDJ what was the deal with his PM back in the ABC days. He was quite ashamed.

I think he's from Biloela or Baralaba. Those places saved the poly pipe industry.

What does it say that with a carbon tax that will 'ruin Australia's mining industry' going in to parliament that one sixth of coalition MPs have purchased shares in various Australian mining companies since the carbon tax was announced?

It might suggest they are looking at a date with the beak if they purchased them on the cheap after talking them down.

It means that the market has already factored in any carbon pricing mechanism garqups that mining companies will suffer and that price will continue to rise from here on in (because China and India still want us to dig sh!t up and ship it to them)...and if they can defeat the carbon pricing mechanism legislation the shares will boom even more

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (III)
Just saw Turnbull on Lateline. Poor bugger, I almost felt sorry him trying to reconcile his personal position in favour of the Carbon Price (which is market based) and his public support of Abbott's "Direct Action" dreamland (which is basically socialist).
Turnbull's great political weakness is that he hasn't learned to believe his own bullsh!t.

As soon as Turnbull realises that Abbott is quite happy to let the lefty pinkos skewer him for his climate views (which are similar to the lefty pinkos and opposite to what Abbott makes him spruik) I hope he tells him to garq off and get a proper policy

You know if it wasn't for the fact that Turnbull would face the same problems sweetie pie is facing I'd probably vote for him. A closet leftie with some economic creds.

FFS, this takes the cake for pinko whinging
"Australia's "first bloke" has hit back at critics of Julia Gillard, saying that the prime minister had become the victim of unacceptable levels of bullying."
-----------------------------------------------
If you can't stand the heat, sister, get back to the kitchen where you belong. FMD.
MM has it right "I don't think anyone watching the prime minister in the parliament would think that she's a shrinking violet or a blushing wallflower," he said.
And turned the teev on this morning and Saturday Agenda was on Foxy Nooz, and there was Albanese, wait for it, whinging about the way the Opposition was "playing politics".
This govt is totally farked and completely consumed with excuse-making and whinging, instead of governing. Farkin imposters.

The lame pinkos should go to the video tape. This is the way it should be done (even LJH raises his eyebrows in acknowledgement of the quality of the sledge )

It's Keating back in 95 sledging Costello "That your so macho" that he twiced missed the boat for taking the leadership of the Libs. "When I told caucus earlier this week that you were a low altitude flier, I was right, wasn't I?" Even LJH thought it grouse.Paul Keating wrote:Stupid iPad won't let me watch the video or copy the link. What is it skull?

The Vulture is getting more and more desperate
"JULIA Gillard has enlisted the help of an image consultant and media training guru to sharpen up her public performances."
"Ms Gillard, who has struggled to translate her feisty parliamentary performances into convincing interviews and speeches, took the crash course ahead of two major prime ministerial addresses."
------------------------------------------------------------------
We can all see what a dud she is, no amount of spin will help.
