I don't see anything of note in the article you posted that I hadn't already.

It was a different spin. She challenged his manhood by asking him if he wanted her to microwave his pie. He reacted as any red blooded Aussie bloke would by telling her to GFH. The Gillard reference was all a diversion.
Seriously, she may as well asked him if he wanted to shag her gay son.

Er, that was in the article I posted. You simply did a Red and posted an article (one that had already basically been linked). I always post the link, select some text from the linked article and comment on the event outlined in that linked article.JGK wrote:It was a different spin. The issue at hand was that a possible future PM did his rag at a shop-owner, over what he thought was a sledge at the Vulture. Poor form.

FFS. I responded to your original posting of the story. The story I posted was an amusing take on it all. Sorry for thinking a bitter Tory might have a sense of humour.

You didn't comment. Sorry for not reading your mind. The article was almost identical to the one I linked. NTR.
PMSL at the grumpy banker. It's clearly been a long week of the "speak to the hand" by the ATO.

No need to read my mind, just my posts...

"BILL Shorten has apologised to Melbourne pie shop owner Annie Wong after "a big misunderstanding" over a hot pie.
The man tipped to be Australia's next Labor Prime Minister was accused by store owner Annie Wong of verbally abusing him after she offered to microwave a pie and swearing as he left the shop – a claim Mr Shorten denies.
"Bill Shorten came into my shop, asked for a Boscastle pie, then I say: 'Sold out, sorry,'" Ms Wong told radio broadcaster Neil Mitchell.
Annie Wong said she offered to put a cold pie in the microwave for him, but warned it would be softer.
Mr Shorten told news.com.au that he believed Ms Wong had said to him "It would be soft, like Julia Gillard."
---------------------------------------
Heard this on the wireless this arvo.
Allegedly the F-word was definitely dropped. Perhaps he told Annie to "Get farked, you little rat-farker."
And even if she did say what he thought, hardly becoming of a senior Pinko to bark at one of his precious battling Australians. Annie claimed she actually said "It would be soft, I like Julia Gillard."
Meh. She's a small business owner. She's probably exploiting her staff and ripping off the tax man. She deserved it.

That sort of response by Shorten would only be justified if she offered to put Soy sauce on the pie instead of Tomato.
Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (VI)
A microwaved pie? Can't blame him for being upset at the offer, but then again, if the ALP had supported the Aussie inventors of Micro Crisp back in the 1980s the whole issue would be moot.
Instead they had to sell the product to an overseas mob.
Karma, even long-term karma is a bitch.

I'm on the fringes of a little capital raising for some wozzies who've puchased a local patent for a fold up boat. In effect, a tinny made from contemporary lightweight materials that will fold up into a surfboard bag. Should be fun.

More outstanding use of taxpayer dollars by the Pinkos
"Transporting double the expected number of asylum seekers around Australia has reportedly cost taxpayers almost $70 million over 11 months."

Fantastic holiday destination is Australia. We pay for everything, including accommodation, living expenses and transfers.

Aye. Imagine if we spent that cash on elite sportspeople instead. I would be feeling much happier with the world.

Too many people working to excel at sport? I suppose they have to pay their great big tax on everything somehow. And try to have enough leftover to buy a concrete umbrella for when the sky falls in.JGK wrote:G.Wood wrote:Zat raised an interesting point the other day (I know I was surprised too)

So it is the pinko's fault as well that life is too easy for our athletes and there is no pressure for places on the team. Is there anything else they can stuff up?

The same group developed a little X wing plane. You may have uncovered a massive opportunity.
We'll have barnaby bodyline tearing around the suburbs alerting the public... they come by air, they come by sea......
