Ten minutes into the day and already India has made three elementary fielding errors. Arrogance certainly has come before a fall.

Garquen hell, Sreesanth's a qunt. The twat stare he just gave Jimmy when he'd got him out. Dread.
Re: England v India, 4th Test, The Oval, 18-22 August, 2011
Nah, dunno what I'm saying. I love Sreesanth. Bloke's a f*cking nutcase. It's good to watch such people.

Out. Good bowling. Morgan looked shot from the off.

And the follow-up boundary to 207 is a thing to behold.

Why haven't we declared? it would take India until the end of day 4 to even match England's score if we declared right now.

I thought 600 by lunch then stick them in. Can see them batting beyond tea, looking for records then relying on them capitulating twice in a little over two days and the weather holding out though.
Still need Broad to come in and get a few, to see if he can seal his achievement of scoring more runs than SRT in this series, despite only having batted four times to date! In fact only Dravid and Dhoni (just) among the Indians have more runs than England's number nine. Six England batsmen can top that, of course...

No. What's the point of batting again? I think both of you are intimating that we won't if we declare now. We may not but we may as well cash in now whilst it's a belter. At least with more runs we can definitely make them follow on, hopefully on a crumbling pitch. Long time left in the match.
Re: England v India, 4th Test, The Oval, 18-22 August, 2011
Going at 4.6s this session. It's not like we're letting the game drift.
Re: England v India, 4th Test, The Oval, 18-22 August, 2011
I suppose the follow-on mark is a consideration but realistically if they get 400+ first up it's going to be a draw anyway. Winning this match relies on us coming out and rolling them over cheaply, and then having long enough to get them all out again.

Raina picks up the wickets of two batsmen with a combined 410 runs to their name.
Also like the stat from the BBC that England's number 11 has a higher FC top score than their number 1. How the fark has Strauss never scored more than 177 in his career?

Yeah, but one could be of the train of thought that if we can't bowl them out twice in, say, 7 sessions then we don't deserve to win the match anyway.

The fifth bowler would be handy.

Agree we want to bat once and make them bat on the worst of this pitch. 700 then declare for my money. If they reach the follow on target at any point then this match is drawn...

So England are gonna bat for 3 days to really make the Bannies miserable, are they?
Why not, I guess?
Was really hoping to sign in and see Belfohlâ„¢ with a unbeaten triple to his name. Oh well, consecutive doubles is handy.

I chuckled.... you've been smashed all over England but hey give it the big man stare for getting the no.11 out!
As you say, Sree is a character though. At least he looks like he's trying.
