Get a room you two, and sort out this simmering sexual tension.

4-0 then.
You're still disguising your bitterness, barely, with affectations of insight.

We'll agree to disagree, I think that Hussey's had his day, Lardbucket doesn't. The trouble with selectors is that sometimes they don't make the hard call and if you give a guy enough chances he'll make some runs and give them an excuse to keep him in longer. If Hussey deserved to stay, Katich certainly did too.

So when's the date? We expect a full blow-by-blow description of the night's events.

Katich certainly deserved to keep his place. Hussey justified the selectors' call ... in 2010-11, it was the only decent call they made.
Not one batsman in Australian cricket last year was knocking down the door for his place.

True but sometimes you have to take a risk. Clarke was hardly bashing down the door when he was selected. First class average of mid-30s IIRC.

Phurt! Hussey's immeasurably better than any incumbent. He was Dravidesque when all around were collapsing.

Do you have a point?

Just that it would be suicidal to get rid of a top bat because he happens to be of a certain age.

Quite so lards, that was exactly my point. The NSP hadn't found worthy replacements for Hayden Langer or Gilly with the bat, so it seems completely daft to imagine the 4th best young bat (presuming the best three were already in the XI) would have made for a stronger side.

He'd played 34 ODIs ...averaged 40
He was a former U19 captain
He was an obvious talent
He filled an injury vacancy
He got dropped after 20 Tests averaging 36

Even you thought he good after his debut innings ...
despite his dubberiness and his million $ equipment sponsorship before he'd played an international

Clip Clop Club was the only one who didn't rate him after his debut.
But he still wants Martin Love in the team

You can always edit for clarity, especially if someone interrupts the flow of a conversation.

I honestly did not think that Danny could misinterpret 'do you have a point' when there was a pointless Red post in such close proximity to his. By the time I noticed his reply, my opportunity to edit had passed.

I think we should just blame Red, be done with it, and move on.
