Again not unique to this 5. Only this 5 have achieved the feat.

As openers. Strauss has actually achieved the feat 3 times but once batting at 3 in Napier in 2008 when he made his career-saving 177 in England's 2nd innings. He is the joint record-holder with Chanderpaul for this peculiar achievement.

I could've sworn Sunny did it twice in the 77-78 series in Aus, but on checking the records he did it once in that series (0 & 118 SM Gavaskar 3rd Test Ind v Aus Melbourne 1977-78) but in the two preceeding Tests he made 3 & 113 in Brisbane and 4 & 127 in Perth.

In terms of captaincy of JAMODIs, what unique feat had Gangles achieved? It is an individual feat, not a team results feat, i.e. "he is the only ODI captain to achieve..."

Very good. W. Close enough. He is the only captain to be dismissed first ball in both the 1st and 2nd innings of a JAMODI.
