Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
The Adelaide wicket has turned into the roadiest road of all time making the game an almost certain draw. Jellies are 1/347 with a lead of 74.

What a shock. The Spivs caved in and lost 6 for bugger-all.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
It's not looking good for my Tozzies. If Victoria beat WA in the match ending today, as now seems likely, there will be 4 teams on 30+ points heading into the last round, with WA narrowly leading and Tassie having the hardest road to the GF thereafter (they play fellow contenders WA in Hobart; Queensland and Victoria play the dire easybeats NSW and SA and will almost certainly collect 6 points each). If WA somehow contrive to beat Victoria today, that will basically guarantee their place in the final and Tassie's failure to qualify.
So ... I'm rooting for a boring draw in the WA-Vic game finishing today; torrential rain everywhere next week and weekend except in Tasmania, and for WA to be so horrendously jetlagged, pissed, or whatever next weekend that they somehow succumb to Tassie, thus gifting us another home final, which I would then attend

Stray, Head. Klinger.
Sounds more like a David Lynch movie than a fightback.

Just as well for the Jellybarrels that they clung on - the other 8 amassed a total of 19 runs in the first knock.

Even if Tassie make it to the final they will be without Ponting, Bailey, Doherty & Hilfy so they will be up against it anyway.

Ironic that Sheridan ran through the stoopid Wozzies.
And I note Bogfohl managed a gozza.

Cracking last round coming up. Hopefully NSW will do whatever it needs to do to keep Vixen out of the final.
