Char ladies XI now 5/363 with a couple of quick LBW's.

Well, Ludeman is the bloke who got dumped as the Sozzie keeper & now finds himself in this team.
Crazy, hey!

Char Ladies declare at 6/398. Pity they did'nt let Cooper get his double ton.
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
Some fine footage of Indian fielding on the News grab from this game. Sydney Harbour Bridge style ground fielding and some fielders lumbering after the ball like wombats on beta blockers.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
The drama of the day however, came courtesy of the Sharma, who managed just 5.3 overs.
The front-line pace weapon was forced from the field twice in the opening session and didn't return, except to carry the drinks out to the middle.
Mystery still surrounds exactly what - if anything - is wrong with Sharma, but either way the Indian camp doesn't appear to be particularly worried.
Sharma did seem to have an issue with his ankle, which he injured in the Test series against England earlier this year.
However a member of the Indian support staff said the reason why he withdrew midway through his sixth over was purely because his ankle strapping had come loose
soft!

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
Am I to assume that the Big Bash League posts are to be just lumped in with Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12? This is the biggest thing to ever happen to Australian cricket. Surely it deserves its own thread.
And there will be folk out there looking for a great forum to discuss the games. I would think we could expect 30 or 40 pages per match. Flaming Bails could really explode & Mr Fromage might make a huge profit on his investment.
Just saying

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
Didn't Dello go all overhype IPL? By rights, there should be a sub-forum with a match thread for each one.
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12 (II)
Dello is just like the rest of the major powers in world cricket. He bent over for the IPL folk & pulled his cheeks apart.
But the Big Bash is run by the nice folk at Cricket Australia. Maybe some Reciprocal thingo could be worked out where we give CA access to yourself, dello & JGK & in return they allow us to ask questions of the superstars of the BBL.
Everyone wins!

Robinson Flays Indians
Thursday, 15 December 2011
Retravision Warriors opener Wes Robinson has continued his outstanding run of form, carrying it into the tour match between the Cricket Australia Chairman's XI and India in Canberra.
Robinson scored 143 against the visiting Indians, helping the Chairman's XI to 6-398 declared at the end of the first day's play.
The left-handed batsman combined with West End Redback Tom Cooper for a 226-run third wicket partnership, putting the home side in a position of strength with one day to play.
Robinson, who was shocked to receive a call-up for this match and only found out the news of his selection while on Twitter, had surpassed 50 in his past four completed first class knocks and takes great confidence into the latter part of the summer.
Meanwhile, Warriors team mate Jason Behrendorff has been called in to the Chairman's XI for a three-day match against the Indians, which begins at Manuka Oval on Monday.
The 21-year old paceman was born and bred in Canberra and will be looking forward to having the spotlight in front of family and friends.
He has previously played a tour match at Manuka Oval, lining up for the Prime Minister's XI against New Zealand in 2008-09.
