'Travel sweets' I suppose because the glucose was supposed to combat travel sickness. Or was it just to have something (non-testicular) to suck to keep you awake on long motorway journeys.

I like the forest fruit ones best.

Haven't had them for quite some time, but pretty much the last time I did they were this weird Murray mint type thing. By Lord Jesus, they were like little drops of heaven. Bought six tins of them one the way home from an away footie match, shortly after and they were done by the time we got home.

And prior to the whole Christmas debacle proceeding into full swing and subsequently everyone losing the plot and becoming feral and before that filthy red-suited, bearded old man breaks into people's homes in order to leave second grade shabby presents whilst eating cookies and drinking full-cream milk - despite the obvious health warnings that his doctor no doubt has provided him regarding his high cholesterol, soaring blood sugar levels and elevated blood pressure - thus setting a very poor example for young children, no wonder they say we have a child obesity epidemic - I would like to wish you and your families a fine festive season.
