Pakistan Cricket Board XI v England
The Pakistan Cricket Board XI looks a decent side. Most of their players have played some international cricket. England 48/2.

I predict a lean year for Trott.
There, it's been prophesied. That's as a good as fact.

On the basis of a blob here? Pish.
KP got gated and Belfohl™ lb, from some Yasir Shah. Get him in the side.
115/4.

Re: Pakistan Cricket Board XI v England
So Cook is the only English batsman in form. Great.

The test pitch is flat and dull usually. That said, non spinner Rehman could trouble England.

Over the 2 games they've all got at least some time in the middle.

I think the biggest saving grace is that Yasir Shah is unlikely to be playing the Tests.................
Re: Pakistan Cricket Board XI v England
So, Monty who will almost certainly not play in the first test gets a gig in this game and yet Jimmy who will definitely play in the test sits it out. Am I missing something?

At least Swanny's playing - so his thigh injury can't be that bad.

Aye, s'weird that Jimbo didn't get a start... maybe they thought 37 overs in the last game was enough for them to see or him to do. After all, the management have specified each one a certain workload. They wouldn't leave a player cold if they thought he was cold.
Re: Pakistan Cricket Board XI v England
Monty get's five.
Will he be in recognition for the first test after this performance?
I'd say there's a good chance.

Can see them going in with 2 spinners in the test - flat decks and all that ....
So which 3 quicks to perm from 4 ...
My money's on Jimmy, Broadly and Tremble ...
F**king Morgan's being a c**t atm ... couldn't score even with a lit reefer right now.
Trotts and Bell-hops taking their time as well ....
Looks like we need 6 Chefs and 5 bowlers.

Shame we haven't got a trustworthy part-timer like Kallis who can give us 10 overs an innings because it'd probably be prudent to play two quicks and two spinners... my reasoning for this is we're still totally sh!thouse at playing spin-bowling... ATM it looks like dropping Morgan for the simple fact that Swanny's shite.

We've always got our Kev to turn his arm over ....

Monty eh? Still can't see him getting picked.
Good to see Tremors hasn't damaged a fingernail and is bowling.

Uhhh, so's sticking KP at 7. Here's another make-believe not serious team selection suggestion: Bring back Dennis Amiss.
Re: Pakistan Cricket Board XI v England
Dennis Amiss has just got back from holidays in South Africa ...which gives him a chance at selection

At least Swanny has been cheap... but KP has the wicket between the two of them. Cunning plan to stick him in at 7.
