Prior isnt playing in the match, which to me suggests that Mustard starts as the first choice 'keeper. Surprising really.

Mustard wont cut it at test level yet IMO.
SL board XI 174-3 at Tea.
Worryingly both our spinners are getting some tap, whilst Broad,Sidebottom & Hoggard all have decent figures.
There goes my '2 spinner' theory then.

Well, we always tend to play crap in the warm up games. It's become a bit of a tradition under Vaughan's captaincy.

Getting dumped on, playing Tharedga back into the Test side. Wicked. Parny and Swarm getting pummelled. Luring into a false sense of security.
Re: Sri Lanka Cricket Board President's XI v England XI
Typical warm-up match probably. Road of a pitch, make the tourists toil, etc.
If it gets Tharanga in to the Test team, it's all good.

Actually, the warm up matches are normally played on green seamers that are anything but like what they will face in the tests.

England in slow start to the tour shocker.
We all know they'll hit their straps just as they're boarding the flight home.
Perfect timing.

Hasn't that got something to do with the size of the snake?

No offense meant, well not much anyway, but a good number of the English team must be crazy.
There's a huge snake, a cobra apparently, lurking in the undergrowth and they decide to take a look/ find the bloody ball?
I'd have been moving in the opposite direction. At high speed.
Oh and if you haven't noticed, there's only one weedy Lankan in the picture. Even he's prudently far back, 'offering advice'. And apparently trying to plug his backside.

On Australia's tour to Sri Lanka in 1999, the dressing room cleared in seconds as a 2 metre cobra came up one of the bathroom drain pipes.

Harmison-watch:
4-0-33-0-8.25
EDIT:
6-0-48-0-8.00
Broad it is then.
Don't know why the Lankans keep batting. Poor sportsmanship.
