Re: VoR's Test Rankings
LOL, your rankings still manage to have England in 2nd place despite the fact that they've lost 7 of their last 10 Tests against serious opposition. Getting sympathetic in your old age, Zim? Or do your rankings just suck.....

Re: VoR's Test Rankings
probably the sort of table which shows that most of the top teams are trading wins at each others home.
What put england ahead of the chasing pack was wins in places like south africa, probably why india's recent win in england puts them in second.
The teams from 2-5 really don't beat each other away very often at all.

Even the kiwis are a good case to look at when you take out the aussies they have only lost 1 home series in the last 9 years.

Re: VoR's Test Rankings
I would bet if you take out losses to Australia most of the top 5-6 tests teams have lost very few series at home in the last 5-10 years.

When England lose to Sri Lanka (probably in a few hours) and then get turned over in NZ, they'll drop down to their rightful place.
Seems a reasonable ranking system to me.
Or, you could just go:
- Australia
- A load of
- S
- H
- I
- T
- E
- Women's Institute
- Pebbladash
- The Mugabe All Stars

Even when Australian cricket is not making a cunut of itself by baseless criticisms of you, you can't resist making a cunut of yourself by baseless criticisms of Australian cricket . . .

Nope, Lanka came into the current series as the defenders...England would need to win the series for the rankings to change.Ross wrote:I think England and Sri Lanka will switch places when England loses this series.

Zimi in sucking up to the moderator shocker!
If you'd done some of that at C4, you mightn't have had to generate so many IDs.

Well, I'm only comparing it to Karti's rankings which, unless you had an abacus, a degree in gibberish and some sort of blow-up-doll fixation, made no sense what-so-ever.

Just about sums it up really. Australian glory, crap umpires and the sheer ineptness of the other teams totally killing the sport.
