The poor old black Lab is really feeling it. Will take him down for a swim later.
Re: Summers last Hurrah
It's a bit of a sweat box here in the Knee of Syd too, but nothing like 39C.
Actually, a breeze has sprung up in the past 30 minutes or so. Quite pleasant outside now.
Good man for looking after the original BD.

I heard Tasmania has a more English climate (although not by the sound of today ), maybe you should move there
Re: Summers last Hurrah
Yeah, I've told numerous people, including a couple of Taswegians - who told me to "Fark OFF!!!!", that I could easily become a Tozzie. Sounds exceedingly pleasant to cool most of the year.

Aye, I must admit I much prefer to be able to take layers of clothes off to cool down than have heat rammed down my throat.

fixed.
well. I'm looking forward to summer. Even when it gets to 39c, which it does maybe 2 days of the season.
But today, there is aboot 12 inches of snow ootside, and it's still snowing. Not cold though. Using the quad bike to get around, it's pretty farking fun actually.
I do like these extreme seasons. The gulf stream can go cock itself.

35c here again today. Some big bushfires just north of Hobart. The ABC are interupting the cricket every 15 minutes to give updates.

That's what cold beer is for.
Though 39 isn't exactly roasting. Unless the humidity is a killer too.
