Windies should do very well in this format.

Re: West Indies v Australia, 1st T20, Gros Islet, 27 March, 2012
Interesting that Clarke has said that he is considering playing both Beer and Lyon in the first test because the pitches seem conducive to spin, though the St. Vincent one may have been atypical.
Interesting also that he is considering playing IPL given his injury problems and that you imagine he partly retired from international T20s for this reason. His scoring rate was never stellar anyway.
I'm off today to embark on my South American, Caribbean, UK, Ireland, and European odyssey.
I hope the tests are competitive. (I'll see the Barbados and Trinidad ones)
Keep well everyone!!

Enjoy the trip Red.
It's not just Pollard to worry about for Australia now, just seen Sammy's innings.

Aye, the Windies certainly have some lower half talent with the bat.

Good luck Red.
Good luck Clarke, too. He's total horse shit at T20s.

He's welcome to. I'll put it this way : Ian Bell is better at T20 batting than Michael Clarke. Ian Bell. Think of a better insult to a man's ability if you can, but I cannot.
Re: West Indies v Australia, 1st T20, Gros Islet, 27 March, 2012
What about: Sir, Ian Bell's left nodger can bat better than you.

WI are batting. Wonder if Red's there!
Is it just me or does anyone else not like the look of Johnson Charles? I mean, he seems pretty limited.
I've probably reverse-Trevved him now.

Can't see why he's in the team. Must be having some good domestic form. He does have proper Biblical name though, Johnson Charles.
Dwayne Smith gone.

24 off 16 is alright. Hardly jingle-tastic though!
Re: West Indies v Australia, 1st T20, Gros Islet, 27 March, 2012
But, currently, Nkrumah Bonner is ruining my enjoyment of this match.
Re: West Indies v Australia, 1st T20, Gros Islet, 27 March, 2012
I thought one of Pollard or DJ Bravo could have batted in the top order today? Got that wrong, as always. Wouldn't need them there if they had Gayle.

Aye, at least they're keeping wickets in hand, I suppose. Bonner is also stepping it up a bit. Bish is talking him up.
Both seem to be hacking at the ball a bit ATM.
