Re: West Indies v Australia, 1st T20, Gros Islet, 27 March, 2012
Aye, it's why I'd liked to have seen one of those two bat up the order.
Think the umpire should look at Doherty's foot. It was nearly touching the return crease.
Darren Bravo's gone.

Didn't notice that, I'll have a look,,, Thank the stars that Darren Bravo has gotten out. Was excruciating to watch

His back foot was fine in the last over that he bowled, just seemed a bit close.
Bollocks from Darren Bravo and Bonner. Thank fark both are gone.

Aye, was awful to watch. What about Pollard though eh? Great to watch. Absolutely great. The languid ease with which he hits sixes, I'm not sure I've seen to this extent.
Re: West Indies v Australia, 1st T20, Gros Islet, 27 March, 2012
and another two, the ball just flies off the bat even with a half hit. Fantastic six hitter.

50 off 20 for Pollard... fastest 50 by a Windian in T20Is.
Equalled Sammy's the other day in the ODIs (which is a record for WI in general, I think).

Brilliantly selfless of Baugh to run himself out there. Top sportsmanship. Love to see things like that.
Great bowling from Watson in the death overs.

Wait until Monty is fielding at long leg against him this summer - no chance!

Looks like Watto is giving us a chance. 24 off 15 so far.

Looked a bit at sea versus Lee and Watson though.

There was some good bowling and he didn't get enough of the strike, but yeah he's not infallible.

Just a comment my son made. Has watched him for a while. Reckons he murders spin and medium pace, but battles against anything more.

Watto and Mr Cricket taking this at a canter. At this rate they should get home with an over to spare. Shows that you don't have to necessarily play the crash-bang-wallop game if you know how to place the ball. The oldest are often the wisest.

We'll see how he goes. He's only really coming of age as an international cricketer. It was his first T20I half ton today, so it's early days. But I've seen him wreck some pace at decent domestic level.

Watson was looking very good. He's becoming a really valuable cricketer for Australia.

Yeah, I know, it was just an observation. But I will watch closer in future.

Surprisingly comfortable win in the end, in this format that we don't particularly excel at. Good knocks by Watto and Paris, with George holding up his end.

Piece of p..., as we used to say. Second defeat of Windies by Oz by 8 wickets following on from SCG in February 2010. Worse defeat suffered by Windies at home in terms of wickets following on from 6 wicket defeat on this ground also by Oz in May 2010.
