True enough.Brass Monkey wrote:skully wrote: Even if they scored a heap in County, I doubt they'd get a call up.
Nor do I. Mainly because they're shite.

Waugh the Lesser burst through on the back of a squillion CC runs and likely had a better shield average than Paris.

Apparently it's been raining at the ground this morning so I guess it proves how full of sh*t weather forecasts are.

Stupid leave from Cowan. Rampaul taking two balls for his wicket.

So, can someone please tell me in what regard Fidel Edwards is a better bowler than Ravi Rampaul? This man is a danger.

Took long enough to figure out who was better. Much like Castro, his threat or lack of was found out.

Injuries and fitness issues kept him out of the first 2 matches. I think a fully fit Rampaul is the first seamer picked for the West Indies. But he had a shoulder injury and then got Dengue fever and if you saw him you could see he was plainly unfit to bowl long spells.

Aye, I half-forgot actually. Glad he's back. Should provide England with a very tough test.
I see Sammy has dropped two regulation catches. Nice.
Re: West Indies v Australia, 3rd Test, Roseau, 23-27 April, 2012
Sammy really needs to stop fielding in the slips. It's almost a 50/50 proposition that he will actually catch it. He drops way too many in there.

Is this the first ever Australian team to have three "Wa-"s in it?

What's happened to the scoring? I thought they must have gone off for rain.

Apparently, it isn't the first time, Doug Walters, Max Walker and John Watkins played in a test against Pakistan at the SCG in Jan '73

Watson's looking controlled as usual.
Warner's looking all at sea ATM, he's even mistiming long hops.

Silly point drops Watson. Bad times for WI.
Re: West Indies v Australia, 3rd Test, Roseau, 23-27 April, 2012
Warner edges just short of 2nd slip. Charmed.
Re: West Indies v Australia, 3rd Test, Roseau, 23-27 April, 2012
Watson brains it again, all brain style between 40 and 60 once again. Brain.
