how big can we go? Lobster roll, coupla slices of London pizza, some foie gras, melted camembert and fresh french bread...ahhhhh
One item?
Perhaps a parmo with chips n garlic sauce. Teesside parmo that is.
One of the first things I'm having when I get back to the north east.

Ambrosia.
The food of immortality, not the custard. Although, if they're out of the first, it's a decent back up.

Lovely, - you can leave the salad out if you like as I wouldn't want to be greedy.

I'd recommend you leave off the mayo too, Bas. It may harden your arteries.Basil wrote:skully wrote:Here ya go, Bas. Enjoy...Basil wrote:Mine would be a bacon sarnie.

A massive, massive Full English. Maybe a mixed grill as well. Then probably a meatfeast pizza. I'd probably be full then, so I'd wash it down with an Old Rosie and a fat old zoot.
Re: One meal left before you die- what's it going to be?
I'd need a few bevs too. Some cocktails. Caipirinhas, Woodchuck cider and...some fresh orange juice.
I like steak, but I've never loved it. I just find it (state the obv) one dimensional. But I could sure appreciate - just had another thought! - the sauce and excellently cut and seasoned fries and mayos that would go with it.
Calamari. Big, fat, Aussie style. And lime and black pepper seasoned fries with garlic aioli. And a nice Riesling. That can be my starter.
Followed by the lobster roll, just a small one, followed by a couple of slices of pizza and the parmo.

Is garlic aioli made with extra garlic?

Re: One meal left before you die- what's it going to be?
you might think me strange for specifying that but I've encountered mustard, caper, lemony, pepper-y variations before. So now I always ask, when it's with calamari or some other dipper, is the aioli just garlic?
People don't respect the ail.

Would have any of the ones mentioned. happily. But what's a London Pizza? And surely the zoot comes first as everything tastes 100 times better.

I prefer to smoke after a meal to help it all go down. Maybe one before and one after.

I've never found a sly toke improves the taste sensation of anything - more that you have a greater capacity for indiscriminately shovelling more shite down your gullet without ever really being sated.
