Aye, except we seemed to struggle at times against him.
His record v us:
Overall - 66 wkts at 36.68
In NZ - 29 wkts at 32.20
In Aus - 37 at 40.18
I guess it was very much ONLY at times.

I should say, that is not to denigrate his terrific career. Of the people who have done the 200 wickets, 2000 runs double, Vettori has bowled the 3rd most number of overs and has the 5th most runs.
I'm not sure that his body is going to get him there but if he can last another 2 years (which would take him to 35 yo) he is a good chance of joining Kapil in the 400/5000 club.

Great stuff from NZ - and from Samuels: 123/209.

2 quick wickets in the chase of 206. NZ missed a trick in not playing Boult in the first test. He has a bit of Chaminder Vaas about him and Gayle had nightmares against Vaas.

Streaky start by Chanderpaul. Samuels has been a class apart.

Uselful partnership this. Should be enough. 70 runs needed.

135/4 at the close of play. Game nicely poised. Teams generally don't chase down scores over 200 at Sabina so it will be interesting. Chanderpaul will be key but NZ is the side against which he has his worst record(except for Zim). The ICC should make a rule that if teams are one position apart in the test standings they can't play 2 match series. I feel like NZ are now starting to find their footing and the tour will be over tomorrow. This should be at least a 3 match if not 4 match series.

Hmm, the Narine brothers crashed through the Snoozies. Looks a good Test. But the Windies really should cruise it in from here. Shiv won't let this chance slip. Good double by Marlon.

This is going to be tight. Never underestimate the Windies' ability to make tough work of what should be a relatively simple chase from here.

they key will be sammy i feel. he can get a 35 in 28 balls or equally get out for 5 having a massive swipe. if the windies do lose a quick wicket, especially chanders, they could do worse than try and be positive

WI look good for the win. They have some solid batting to come and a lot of time to make the runs.

52 to win, they're walking this.

The nightwatchman, Kemar Roach, makes his highest test score to guide the Windies to certain victory.

Easier victory than I expected. We now move well clear of NZ in the Test standings. Also only losing one ODI on the entire tour was good going. NZ is going to have to step their game up because they are going to India next and they got thrashed in the WI who have a lot less talent than India
