OK, now that Brisbane has it in 2032 and the AOC can push for sports to be included, now's the time for T20 to get in.

Or even SPF16.4… then again, if England get 16.4 overs and Australia get 20 we’d still be OK on current form.skully wrote:Don't you mean T16.4?

I see Captain Take-it-in-the-nuts smoked one over the stands a couple of days ago.

Yeah, mentioned it on the JAMODI and JAMITT thread that he found the neighbouring rugby ground.skully wrote:I see Captain Take-it-in-the-nuts smoked one over the stands a couple of days ago.
Last night he managed the notable feat of “out second ball for 6”. How many have done that in international cricket?

There won’t be an England team.

Cheers, Big Dog.
I've found I haven't had the brainspace for sport in the last year or so ... too much else to worry about.

I generally fly Plummet Airways (Malaysian Airlines) when I fly to England to see my youngest (haven't done so for 2 years due to covid, unfortch). It's amazing how planes falling out of the sky can produce very good return flight prices (well, not really amazing).
Anywho, I always have a stopover each way at Kuala Lumpur airport. Sepak Takraw is generally playing on all the TV monitors.
A truly remarkable sport played by remarkable athletes.
And as BD says, welcome back, OP. Sorry to hear that things have disrupted your headspace.

I watched some sepak takraw back at Tas Uni back in the 1970s, when there was a cohort of fanatical Malaysian students keen on the game. Incredible skills. It never took off locally and although the Malaysian students continue to come, those coming in recent years must not be as fanatical about the game.
