In your dreams... Betamax clung to that NTSC crap... PAL was always going to win - I'm sure you Strines were NTSC for a while...

ICC/BCCI COARIB but Siri can

"CONCERNS that the Chinese version of the Apple iPhone's new voice-activated assistant Siri directs users to brothels have been raised by net users and lawyers.

Users of the recently released Mandarin version of Siri were given several options for finding prostitutes upon request, but could not verify if the listings were accurate, the state-run China Daily said.

It cited a lawyer as saying the information supplied by Siri had "affected the public order and had a negative influence".

Prostitution is banned in China, which retains a largely conservative attitude to sex."

"Aaah so, Siri - some jiggy jiggy please."

"Yes sir. Take the next left and knock on the 4th door on the right. The pink one."

That's a lot of tampons

"Apple forecast to sell 102M iPads, 194M iPhones in 2013

With 100 million iPads sold in its first two and a half years, Apple is predicted to sell another 100 million in just one 12-month span thanks in part to the addition of the iPad mini."

Are the sheep wising up?

"For the first time since the Apple iPhone was released in 2007, the number of iPhone owners who say they definitely will or probably will purchase their next phone from the same brand has declined.

The recent Strategy Analytics Wireless Device Lab Report, iPhone Owner Loyalty Declines: Is Apple Losing its Innovation Edge?, found that only 75 percent of iPhone owners in Western Europe say they are likely to buy their next phone from Apple, down from 88 percent in 2011. US repeat purchase intentions have also seen a slight decline, down from 93 percent in 2011 to 88 percent in 2012."
