Re: India A vs England
Everything wrong is Italian. Dujon's commentary at 1 am also falls in that category.

Maybe I just go deaf after a certain time. Or maybe it's the flat shit wickets that were produced a few years ago.

Greenops on which Cook scored 294, Clarke a 300 and even Ponting scored a 200, Australia and England scored 700s while India barely got to 300.
Nothing wrong with a turning pitch.
Green-tops don't really exist these days. I can't remember the last game when I wondered where the cut strip actually was. They were standard English wickets, IMO.
And India didn't amass too many on the runway at Taunton against the cream of the Somerset Academy, so the point about green-tops is not valid.
There is another cricinfo article on Raina, searching for the payback. I expect some Indian fans to behave this way (it's just like English football fans, really), but not the players.
India will likely win the series anyway. But, if they really want revenge, surely the best way would be to hammer us in England and avenge the whitewash?

I'm not convinced the result of the series is a foregone conclusion despite England's ineptitude against spin. It's not like we're coming off a glorious run of form.

Re: India A vs England
I have no faith in England, anymore. Not that I had any anyway. But yeah, generally piss batting, more than the dobby bowling, is likely to hurt us more. How wank is our batting? Well, only that nasty Kevin is averaging over 40 for us in the 11 Tests this year. So, I'd call that 'w-w-wank'. That nasty Kevin averages less than Swann with the ball, as well. In some regards, the most worrying aspect of our game has been the fielding. We set an incredibly high standard, which dropped to the level of India (or a club side) at an alarming rate. We've gone from looking like somewhere around #1 to looking like fat trannys who hate cricket in no time at all. If India aren't heavy favourites, then I'm a glass jar half-filled with mucus.

Too much exposure to Bresnan maybe.somewhere around #1 to looking like fat trannys who hate cricket in no time at all.

I'm just imagining him in a cocktail dress, as I type. Disarray doesn't aptly describe our current position. I wouldn't feel like this if I feel I could rely on our bowlers, but they've lost nip and Swann isn't very likely to do well enough to keep us competitive. Prove me wrong, England... prove me wrong.

easily done given the subject in question has the sole ambition of being a peripheral issue

No live coverage of this game? A result of excessive BCCI demands?

And apparently Finn has picked up a thigh injury and been sent to hospital for scans.
