100% agree, h. Seeing his slimy beaming head on the box was a sure way for me to change the channel. He shoulda been a Used Car Salesman.horace wrote:good on the NRL for giving filth Waterhouse jnr jnr the flick.....

Re: Rugby League 2013
if they had a policy of prosecuting all toilet block/smith types I'd be interested in voting for that

Re: Rugby League 2013
the toiletblock family must almost be as loathed as the Hancocks....way worse than the Packers, Murdochs, Creans, Courts and Howards

Apparently* Fitzsimons was interviewed for it which I don't think is a good thing because he's almost too zealous in his opposition to gambling (a bit like Tim Flannery and GW).
And I heard Australian Story did a show on that thunderqunt Ray Hadley.
He was, but his main beef was nein having Tommy as part of the panel rather than an obvious paying advertiser which is more than fair enough (even if it was delivered whilst wearing a red bandana - nob)

Does the SMH have adds for bookies or publish odds on sport?. Fitzsimons was on shaky ground last night and I lost a bit of respect for him. I've wondered about the bandana thing too. Can't work out if it's a mid-life crisis or the poor prick has cancer.

It's not really the point though is it. Sports gambling is legal but it doesn't mean that someone who is against it can't agitate for it to be abolished just because their employer earns money from advertising it.

Re: Rugby League 2013
Well done to the Tiges on snapping their 7 game losing streak to the enigmatic Cows.
Not so good was the hateful Musi-Doggies getting across the line. Scarey when I'll go for the Nags over a Sydney side. Only happens when the Broncs play the Filth or the Dogs.

Storm too strong for R00ters. On the dark side, Cronk lifted the C0cks winger, so is in doubt for Origin.
In other news, the Coastal Flith did enough to see off the Raiders.

I think I'll give up pretending to follow the Drags until they get another decent Coach AND an injection of heart and discipline. The latter seems to be Benny's greatest skill.

And Eels get slammed by the Titans. The woefulness of the Slimeys may save the Drags from the Spoon.

Thats ok. I tipped the Tits.
Re: Rugby League 2013
Here's an interesting table. It shows the Drags have "won" the spoon 3 times, and the last was in 1938. Must say I'm surprised that the Coastal Filth has never earned the Spoon in 60 seasons. Drags and the Tiges might have to lift their games to avoid the ignominy this season.
