2 day old news now, but 2 players from the self-proclaimed "family" club, the Bulldogs, have been binned for bonking a couple of 17 year old Port Macquarie schoolgirls.

Not illegal, but most definitely distasteful and immoral, especially the way one stalked one of the girls on Facebook (that he'd met at PM High School earlier) before the rendezvous.

It would not be a NRL pre-season without such scandals.

Club CEOs and the NRL bosses must think "FFS & FMD, are these ferk knerkles complete dolts??"

NRL will probably get the first round in but I reckon the season will be suspended because of CV next week.

Of course, NRL players are used to playing in front of no fans so who knows.

The AFL has already said they'll be doing the latter in the event of large gathering bans.

Every year in the week of the launch. More regular than xmas. If the current NRL boss is having problems with the Chairman Id be hoping for the predicted sack in a couple of weeks and subsequent payout.

It's not so much about the crowd but the players. As soon as one player tests positive (which is inevitable, probably already happened), that club can't play for 2 weeks at least.
