Great, now you've just conjured up the 'Russell Brand' look in my mind.

Nah, he's deliberately scruffy - styled that way.

I, on the other hand, just can't help it.

The homeless never offer me the Big Issue when I walk past, they just tip their caps to me as though they recognise one of their own.

"I understand your struggle, brother," I imagine them saying to themselves.

Although, on the flip-side, they never ask me to spare any change. So, every cloud...

Am I going to get a really large phone bill?

Not a penny.

It's the sex lines he's been calling you want to be worried about!!!*

(My humour is based on the basis he's in his teens Dem! LOL - isn't he?)
Apparently you DO have to pay for it.
Seems he has a three month free trial period and then you have to buy an xbox live gamercard.

Does it sound like I know what I'm talking about yet?

Yeah you have to buy a card, i think it's £40 for a year, so you got nothing to worry about!

Oh and don't get an iPod touch or an iPhone. Not only are they not worth the money but in terms of MP3 players, 8 or 16GB is pretty pitiful in terms of memory. If you are going to get one, you should wait for at least another generation until they've got everything sorted out and working.

The thing i don't understand what is the point in getting a 160gb ipod? is it really practical? i mean can you actually think of 10,000+ songs that you actually like?

I made a mistake of getting a 30gb ipod video and regretted it big time, used less than half of the memory, ended up selling it and getting an ipod Nano 4gb, another point about big HD mp3 players is that they guzzle battery power, i use my Nano quite a lot and only charge it every other day.

Yeah i've got an 80GB iPod classic last month and i've used up around 15GB so far. I mostly use it for music but i've also put around 20 episodes of tv shows on it (Curb Your Enthusiasm S6 and a few episodes of Arrested Development). I've got a lot more shows that i can put on it but just don't have much time yet. I also like to use it as a portable hard drive and put things like PC games or applications on it so the memory is pretty important for me.

I know what you mean about battery life though. That was one of the things i looked into. The battery life for music is around 30-35 hours and 4-5 for tv shows. That's more than enough to last me a couple of weeks.

I've just put the classic Pikes Peak and Rendezvous short movies as well as the 60 years of Ferrari 2 minute Shell advertisement on m ipod touch - quality is very good for small screen and of the course the clips are classic.
