That's weird - my broadband's suddenly taken off...

Instead of being connected @ about 2.2 mbps which, I was told, was the maximum speed I could get down my phoneline, it's suddenly rocking at 7.6 mbps.

Strange days...

They upgrade them without telling you sometimes.

Years ago I was getting download speeds of 100KB/s, which then overnight turned into 250-300KB/s. Was lovely.

Good times.

Mine's always been real slow. Still, at least I know who's getting my share now.

Speaking of broadband, need to get rid of Aohell, downloaded Battlefield 1943 and the farker won't connect on the old xbox

We might have to get Broad banned.

At least for the rest of this series.

Anyone with Virgin, who claim to provide up to 20? I'm with BT (at home) who promise "upto 8" - I've never enjoyed more than 4.

That doesn;t quite sound like the way you intended it too.....

You do get faster speed with Virgin media but they will throttle your speed during peak times and it really is not worth it. I am with o2 and I only pay for the minimum 8MB speed and I get around 10Mb during off peak and 6Mb during peak hours. Got 3 months free on a year's contract as well! Only £7.34 if you also have O2 mobile.

I think you should still be able to get their broadband for £20. Or alternatively go for mobile broadband!

Mobile broadband? Isle of Wight ain't that bad! Still got 8mpbs, just not within the areas that would allow me to get o2 for £7 or £8
