Indeed, but shirley there is a simple set of rules?Henry wrote:Shoe's on the other foot now from Sydney- Aussies want to get back out there, Sri Lanka don't want to play. Lankans will argue that a precedent was set at the SCG.

Dunno why the Lankans would be worried. There is a snowball's chance in hell of Aus making 10 an over to win.

Many of the callers rang up tonight to complain that many left the gates because of inadequate number of staff on duty and because they were steering people with misinformation into the dearer sections.

D./L is unfair in T20. Aus will likely only have five overs to face and need something like 50 runs. A lot more likely for them to get that with 8 wickets still in the shed.

It'll be way more than 50, Trev. More like 70.Henry wrote:skully wrote:Dunno why the Lankans would be worried. There is a snowball's chance in hell of Aus making 10 an over to win.

There you go. 62 needed in 30 balls with a wet outfield and ball. Sri Lanka very stiff.

After about 15 years of it being used, I still don'know how they work out Duckworth/Lewis. But it's out of date for T20.

Simon Fry- What a clown. Reacted as if the Lankans were silly to even appeal, but Marsh hit the cover off it.

Fair hand from Beetle comes to an end at deep mid wicket. 16 needed off 4.
