Denial catches Tino off Qunt. All over, all done. 5-0.
Great knock by Vague, and great defensive bowling to throttle the Ganjas.

Windies have always found a way to lose even when they're on top. Their ex-players from the dominant era must look on sadly at this rabble.
Even a makeshift Aussie team and one which struggled against the Lankans can clean them up. They appear to have the balance all wrong. Next time they also need time to acclimate after coming here basically haven't played no cricket.
Hard to know whether this will buy Voges more time once the first choice players come back. Watto chalks up a win as skipper.

Henry wrote:You can see why the Windies are so good at T20 cricket- They are excellent for the first 20 overs of the innings before they completely lose focus and let the opposition off the hook. They do it again and again.
Mudge's ongoing bitterness about the windies should never be read churlish- I suspect it is in his DNA...
...all of us remember the 10-0 blackwash the windies achieved over the Pomgolians in successive 5 match series..
the triumph of the children of slaves over the colonial oppressor was celebrated by every fair minded impartial cricket fan

WTF are you talking about you old shit?
It's got nothing to do with triumph over social oppression, it's about them clearly being bad at cricket for the last 15 years. What's past glories got to do with this current West Indian team?
I'd love to see them being a powerhouse of world cricket once again but it's just not happening, and it's only natural to ask why.

Mudge in remarkable imitation of Taips shocker
look, everyone looks forward to the Windies becoming competitive again, except poss some great grandchildren of English slave owners ...
the modern day english have never got over the blackwash

must admit it is nice to see Embee posting again in such a chipper manner...vague's ton, midge getting a wicket or two, bog not playing grade, an historic win for the worriers over the chips (well any win is historic for the bnlg led worriers these days)

Re: Australia v West Indies, 5th ODI, Melbourne, 10 February, 2013
must admit I watched most of the game yesterday..(this feels like the opening of a committal to a 10 steps program)...here are some obeservations
schoolgirl - least deserving captain of an Oz team since Ian Craig - got his deserved first ball duck...the abc were appropriately scathing about his public lobbying for the openers spot in the test team ahead of Cowan
fudge - cannot get a game for the Vix shield team because he is not good enough
fuse..aka "slasher" - an extremely limited player - has natural talents of Tavare..but applies what he has
Bog..yep he can whack the ball every now and then...but otherwise has no clue...shame on bnlg for bringing him back..
Vague..nice ton and kudos to him for stepping up in the 2nd half of the season despite the appointment of the bnlg..unlikely to be ever selected again
haddit...disappointed the country by not scoring a duck...played a typical knock...unable to run more than a single...as ever remains a liability when the ball goes to his left glove
Forks..the one guy in the team who looked like he might have a long international career...good with bat and ball and in the field (who needs the specialist fieldsman?)
Midge...unforch wil continue to be selected, will pick up cheapies against lesser opposition and fail against half decent teams
sarkie..a rarity...an over rated Banjo player...cannot move the ball
M'Kay...jamodi player of the year!!!!!...'nuff said....5th choice player for Vix in the shield
xman...'nuff said
