Finn inspires a change in the laws of the game...

Well, it's a legacy of sorts.
I think a no ball seems a little harsh - calling it a dead ball unless the batsman scores off the delivery it would've been my choice - but there you go. It's the law.
Although the small print does say Murali's allowed to elbow the stumps over in delivery, as he's deformed and can't help it.

Immortality!
The Finn. Joins the Mankad.
"The bowler was more finned against than finning."

As far as I'm aware, it's only Sooky Smith that has had an issue with it.
Re: Finn inspires a change in the laws of the game...
various Oz bowlers have had this problem in the past...the no ball solution seems perfectly sensible

I am happy with this solution ... bowlers should learn to aim at one set of stumps only

Well it's less stupid than what was happening, but still all feels unnecessary.
Whether it's switch hits or running into the stumps, England players certainly keep the law makers busy!
