South Africa v Pakistan, 2nd T20, Centurion, 3 March, 2013
I fell down on the job with the first one (apologies), but it was washed out anyway. Frankly, I thought the Wacky tour was over. Oh well.

I must've been confusing the plethora of short form games NZ played against SAf. They seem to have been endless in Yarptown.

Is the ex-Pope a wild bear?
I think Cook is more likely to have a Kia-Ora in New Zealand.

Will de Kock rise to the occasion or as predicted in the press be a non-event because AB has decided to open and take the gloves?
Will it as in Durban?

Pak. has won the toss and decided to bat, Faf wanted to bowl so both are happy.
AB had got his way and will open and keep while de Kock has been left out because the likes of Ontong and Behardien have to play. The selection of the former amuses as he has seemingly been around for a long time without doing much yet seems to always get in these squads. Is getting on too. Would have thought investment in someone younger in a game like this might have been the ticket.

Behardien is rubbish. Ontong isn't that bad, really. Henry Davids? I'm not convinced. But yeah, surely they've gotta get de Kock in there somewhere.

wow what a strange way to get out! Hafeez played a quality shot that went for 4 but unfortunately his foot made contact with the stumps...
Still a stunning innings...

I'm not sure he's ever really been given much of a chance. Early in his career he was picked as a bowling all rounder, (controversially) played that one test, and since then has only received a handful of ODIs/T20s, mostly batting down the order at 6 or 7. I'm not saying he's actually a world beater, just that he's perhaps unlucky not to have been given a bit more of a chance.

Better than Maxwell, but not good enough for SA.

Kamran's keeping has improved but his batting has really gone downhill for some reason.
