South Africa v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Centurion, 22-26 February, 2013
Will the Wackies now lift given the series is decided?

No, well maybe, perhaps, quite possibly, or alternatively not; but nothing to do with the state of the series. The Pakster's brilliance; or abject haplessness is entirely random and bears no connection or relation to any external stimuli. It is the 8th Wonder of The World.
It's sort of like The Anderson Cycle, but completely random.
It is more random than a random number generator.
Have I emphasised "random" enough?

(And before anyone mentions bookies and brown envelopes, it's always easy to spot the contrived nature of Pakster Haplessness under those non-random circumstances. They are not very good actors. Prolly why gayball isn't big in Pakistan.)

Still a very big game for Pakistan
Azhar and Asad are very bright batting talents and i think Nasir will come good too. The batting biggest disappointment has been M Hafeez, i understand the bowling is very good however he was suppose to be in the form of his life, i guess he is simply not good enough.

Really hope Junaid is fit, a bowling attack of Junaid, Irfan, Ajmal and Gul may just be BETTER than that of SA(considering Morkel is injured)

Looks like Misbah is sooking about not playing enough home tests to excuse their crappiness on away tours. Did he even look at his team's away record even when they used to regularly play at home?
And BTW, what has not getting to play at home got to do with your crappiness away? India has almost always been good at home, but crap almost always on away tours. If anything, it masks your weaknesses in the comfort of your home tracks.

The last test track was anything but a South African one and SA still won almost comfortably except for some jitters early on in the test.
If they still couldn't win with the champ chucker in their ranks, why is he sooking about home tests? Why can't he gets this in his head that no one would visit his country for at least foreseeable future and he has gotta live with it. And no outside forces are to be blamed for this, their favorite passtime.

I think MIsbah should be pissed off. They've got a decent team and are resigned to playing 6 Tests per year. It's not good enough.
Re: South Africa v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Centurion, 22-26 February, 2013
Decent team and still can't win test series in SL and WI of all places? If they can't win in these 2 places, they've little hope elsewhere.

aus are the only team to win a test series in lanka in the last 10 years, so its not that easy
pak have a good bowling line-up. but if the ball is swinging or bouncing then they are f*cked in the batting. which rules out aus, eng and sa for them at the very least

We'll never know because they're not playing enough Test cricket!

At least teams like India and Eng (hell even WI and NZ) drew a series there something which this 'decent' Pak didn't manage to.

But when they do play, they end up being mostly crap. We'll never know because they're not playing enough Test cricket!.
As I said earlier, if they couldn't win the Cape Town test (even after having SA on mat), they've little hope elsewhere (away tests only).

Their batting is incredibly frail, but it's bowling attacks that keep you competitive. As seen in the England series.
Re: South Africa v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Centurion, 22-26 February, 2013
Agreed.
And by the evidence of it, even their bowling attack hasn't helped them to win a single away test series in last 5-6 years, except for NZ in '11 I think.

Misbah had a wonderful record as a test skipper before this series. Even on this tour the situation is quite redeemable if Pakistan win this test match but a 3 nil defeat will look very bad and very India like( actually 8 nil will be more India like )

Such a great captain Misbah was prior to this series that Pak couln't even win in WI of all places and actually lost a series in SL.
What is pak score for its last 12 tests against Aus, 0-12?
