You learn something new every day
Buffalo has three definitions: Buffalo as in the city in New York, buffalo as in the animal (bison), and buffalo as in the verb phrase "to bully".
In terms of what most people would consider "normal person lingo", the phrase in the picture translates to "Bison from the city of Buffalo that are bullied by other bison from the city of Buffalo, bully other bison from the city of Buffalo."

Obviously not for me. Serves me right for not being a Facebooker.

That has been around since long before Facebook was invented.
I remember Jim Kelly would often mention it in interviews.

Wally in "How come this Aussie doesn't know who American Footballer Jim Kelly is" meltdown.
Forgive me, old fruit, but I don't follow the sport.
Thanks, A.

Gosh. I've probably used the "old news" line a couple of dozen times on this but this would be the first time it has caused someone to burst into tears. Poor little boy.

Er, none of your bets get up this weekend, Wally? You appear to be the one in tears. Foul mood much?
Well played, W. You've made 5 posts today and 4 of them were shots at me. Stellar posting.
I think we've unearthed another grumpy Pinko.

Re: You learn something new every day
to be fair it's probably not so much that I haven't heard of him as the fact that with American Football not stirring my give-a-feckometer in the slightest, I might have heard his name several times over the years and still not remembered. For me he's right up with the stars of curling, and well below the legendary Dave Sorenson*.

Look out, the cider-swigging forum hard man has waddled in to bring order to the place. I knew it wouldn't be long.

Always. But in this instance, you will see, in fact, that this was a Wally Vag-athon. But I know you are far too captivated by my outstanding posts and can't read past them.

Re: You learn something new every day
Stop being such a grumpy Pinko, I just had a re-read. It seems that it was a skully vag-athon. I deduced this by reading past your posts.
Re: You learn something new every day
Ah but you always deduce that final assessment. Wally actually had a meltdown at me over a sledge from MB, claiming some tripe about my reacting to his "old news" line (which I didn't), then took issue with the fact that I'd not heard of Jim Kelly.
If he wants to have an ill-conceived sledge (out of nowhere) then (as you know) I'll sledge him back. You know me, old preggo puncher, stoushes are great for the post count.

Re: You learn something new every day
I'd hardly call it a meltdown - but that's where we differ. You Pinkos think differently.
