South Africa's ODI team has been pretty average for about 18 months now.

Kallis needs to either play more ODIs than he is now or retire and concentrate on tests, I reckon.

looking at the indian bowling it seems we would need 330+ every time we bat. one off-day for the batsman and we are most probably screwed

good to see the players who didnt get the runs in the warm-ups doing well in this match. pretty much all of the top 7 have now had a good score

Tsotsobe has lost the plot. Kleinveldt should never have been there. The likes of Morris and De Kock should be automatic choices. I can only assume that they are using the ODI side together the quota figures up.

Yeah... Peter is going on about Steyn and Morkel - they've hardly had an impact on ODIs in comparison to Test matches anyway. They're just not that good a side. It's fair dues, after all, they're rampant in the real stuff.

That's why I was confused when people started talking us up as favourites. Field settings in ODI's don't suit Steyn and Morkel.
