Think Pakistan, just a guess. One team's bowling is short without their two main and the other's batting is just gash.

Amla looking good now, Riaz is superb but he only swings the ball one way so a world class player like Amla can take him to the cleaners.

Pretty crabby start by the Yarps. Under 4 per over in the first 18. Amla still there but Ingram fell for 20 to the Pinger.

1 - 120 in the 28th; seems a very good start. Amla is all class.

He's never been in the same pinging league as Ajmal when I've seen them ... has he deteriorated?

Now 2-132 off 29 ... if Pakistan aren't careful, this could be a 300 chase.

He's pretty bad, not Sajmal bad, but looks a very bendy and straightening elbow.

235 to win is hardly a mountain. Quite exciting that this'll basically dump one of these teams out.
Re: Pakistan v South Africa, 5th ICCCT Match, Edgbaston, 10 June, 2013
Advantage of the short format - just about every match counts.
The top of the Group deciders perhaps (oddly) count the least.
Meanwhile, why did SAf put Peterson in at 8 this time?
A bit surprising he was promoted to 3 last game, but he didn't do at all badly, ....
so you might have thought, okay, so this game, at a point they really did need to up the pace, sending him in at 5 or 6 would have made more sense, with a licence to biff.
He was a bit wasted down at 8 trying to prevent the early a/o and cautiously strike or stroke a few runs at the death.

ATM, Pakistan look toast.... but a long way to go, though. I reckon that a lot could depend on Jamshed and Ukmal.

Hmmm... Phangiso's looking a bit like he's into The Kinks.
Re: Pakistan v South Africa, 5th ICCCT Match, Edgbaston, 10 June, 2013
Pakistan with a serious case of the Trotts here. Plodding along with little regard for the asking rate, then losing a wicket whenever someone looks like getting established. It's certainly not the sort of batting we associate with them in one-day cricket.

And a miserable hack from the captain ends their hopes surely...

Nice pun.
It must've been used before, I'm sure, but I'd never picked up on it.
Well played.
Re: Pakistan v South Africa, 5th ICCCT Match, Edgbaston, 10 June, 2013
It's probably in the Glossary already...
Craptacular chase from Pakistan, England couldn't have done it worse themselves. Yarps look like getting a real NRR boost as well.

Well even if we don't make the finals we have taken the cheats out.
