Champions Trophy is excellent!

Not sure why so many people dislike it! I reckon CT is superb and better than MOST test series

That's a FACT.

It's not better than Tests - unless you're a cabbage-brained numbnuts. But it is really good. Every game means something and there have been some good ones already.

It's the sort of format the World Cup should adopt - trouble with the big one is that they have to include lesser nations but don't want a crapshoot "one defeat and you're out" format so they end up with a month of largely meaningless games just to eliminate the minnows and get the eight usual suspects into a knockout format.

I think the next WC will be similar to CT since they are going to get rid of CT and have all the rubbish teams play the T20 world cup instead.

Think it's the same format as 2011. Too many associates, Ireland and maximum one other are enough.

Tests over Champions trophy any day, but it's a decent tournament. Still won't bother if it died.

Well, the good times are over now. We've had our four days of English summer and it'll be wall to wall rain from this point forward.

If the Sunday match is washed out as widely meteorologically predicted, or else England win, Oz just have to get a biggish-margin win over SL to go through on NRR, don't they?

Or does the head-to-head rule apply in this tourney?

Australia's NRR is very poor; therefore I very much doubt we can make it through unless we get through on points.
