What do you expect?
The triumvirate of sloth face 209 balls in the innings, 78 of them powerplay balls and they score 155 runs between them. Forgive my possibly bad maths, but that's 4.42 an over. So, they leave 91 balls for the unselfish players to try to muster a score.
Stick THAT SHIT in your analysis pipe and smoke it!

Brilliant by Bopara. Know this has been mentioned before, but that elbow looked dodgy in a slow motion.

Lovely stuff from Ravi Bops to - again - bail out England's miserable, feet-dragging top order and recuse a reasonable total from out of the rubble.
Root should open. Bell can f*ck right off. Little Joe showed with a positive mindset and hard running than you could score at a run a ball quite comfortably without taking massive risks.
Jos "the finisher" Buttler's tournament: 1, 0.
That's some quality finishing. Glad the entire tactics for the innings are built around him.

Joe Root's lofty dobbers are no use - it's about time someone collared him - innocuous. These two batsmen are pretty much a run a ball with very little risks. The pitch must have changed.
Re: England v Sri Lanka, 8th ICCCT Match, The Oval, 13 June, 2013
SL pissing this.
It's almost as though it's possible to score at 5.5 an over fairly comfortably before the final ten overs of the innings.
Weird.
If England lose, it'll be the top three's inert batting that lost it.

Well yeah, as it turned out it was 209 balls (78 powerplay) 155 runs scored, versus 91 balls (12 powerplay) 138 runs scored. That's an incredibly damning statistic.

To be fair it's only that one Root over that's the difference at this stage. Swann and Chavi putting the brakes on. We do need a wicket soon though, so they don't have too much of a platform to attack from.

Swanner gets Dilshan. No need for that, but Swann's been tight.

He's being very kind. Leg stump half volleys and half trackers.
Re: England v Sri Lanka, 8th ICCCT Match, The Oval, 13 June, 2013
If Broad has to bowl out, SL will win this with overs to spare.
