The actual forecast looks good - 11C-15C, partly cloudy.

Adios Marsh, caught behind off Finn - decent pace, 87mph.

Watson LBW? Hmm, definite hot spot on the bat, I think it had to be an inside edge as the bat didn't appear to hit the pad. Anyway, decent start from England.

I love it how the Aussie ex players immediately start talking up guys for their test side after a few good T20 and ODI performances. Love it.

To be honest, I reckon Aleem Dar in the third umpire's box got both review decisions right.

Jesus, why did we bowl first? This pitch is already slowing up and taking turn.

Pietersen and Carberry opening and England STILL can't get the ball away in the early overs.

The team changes, but the method remains the same for England. I've long given up on us as an ODI team. We will NEVER crack it.

Before the start of the England innings I was thinking 30-40 too many to chase. Looks more like a 100 now. Could be worse though, it looked like Aus were on for 350 at one stage.

Excellent spell from Johnson, the ball to get Trott was a snorter.

Hmmm, I think he'll be there at The Gabba - he looks in pretty decent nick to me.Henry wrote:Aye, and good to see him being talked up for an Ashes spot......Basil wrote:Excellent spell from Johnson, the ball to get Trott was a snorter.
