Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Murgatroyd is a qunt - he doesn't shut up. Does not shut up. Certainly not from the Richie Benaud school of commentary. F*cking monotonous, irrelevant blitherings.

Who is Murgatroyd???

Brian Murgatroyd. Sort of a stats man who has somehow gotten a gig as a commentator. Turns out he's a mike-hog who thinks I'd like to know that four 'maximums' have been scored off free hits in this tournament.
Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Snoozers in a bit of trouble here. If the Dutch had just held their nerve a couple of days ago they could have potentially been facing England in a straight knockout match for a place in the semis!

NZ putting the brakes on the Dutch effort at the end, they should get 152 but won't be a walkover unless McCullum really gets going.

Snoozers do it with an over to spare, but SL (and potentially England) with the NRR advantage.

Sounds a bit like Colville, doesn't he?

Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
England has inserted SA to avoid the dew. Faf missing means Behardien plays again but Parnell replaces the profligate Tsotsobe.
On form England is favourite though form is temporary in this format.
The winner will advance and the loser will be eliminated assuming that if the poms win they roll the men in orange.

Come on Agent Dernbach, keep it up, can't let Giles take any credit from this tournament...

Floodlight failure has them off - a NR would mean any reasonably convincing win against Holland would see England through.

Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
Amla goes after getting the Yarps off to an impressive start. De Kock needs to get on with it or get out, he's in danger of Boparaing the SA innings...

Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
This SA side just looks short of firepower with the bat for this format. England have that, even if it's hit and miss. As we've seen already, it only takes one or two to get going to win a match despite the bowlers' best efforts.

we are back to the times of W. G. Grace, albeit with ragged, tattered beards.

SA have thrown this away. They were locked on for 180+ after about 9 overs.
What a shower.

Dernbach, he does indeed have a special talent. Nobody so shite can be an integral part of the team...

Should get about 185 here. Could've been 200+ but for all that de Kocking around.
Re: Twenty20 World Cup 2014
"It's going to be Bresnan (to bowl the last over). I think that's the right decision in so far as it's not Dernbach."
Nicely nailed, Nass.
