things I've learned recently

1 it is impossible for an indian cricketer or fan to utter a racist comment.
2 that Indian fielders have never made a frivolous appeal or applied pressure on an ump
3 that money = right
4 that it is quite fair for indian cricketers to not pay tax despite being priveleged gazillionaires in a country where people continue to starve to death and have to sell their kidneys to survive

I don't claim originality - it was suggested in a newspaper article I read, something along the lines of "Nobody likes us but we don't care"

At the end of the day it takes the gloss off the remarkable achievement of 16 wins in a row. And, if the Aussies make it 17, which I think they will - the feat will be tainted which will be a great pity.
