Woakes looks so much better when he gets the ball fuller. Vijay was a bit stiff there. He seemed to keep the edge down but Root was standing well forward at 4th.

Will they make 50?

how much worse can this team get? And every time that's asked, they just get a bit worse.

At least our Sturat doesn't look like he's come straight out of Clockwork Orange today. That has to count for something... anything.

Dire stuff from India. Once again on a no seas tour, they've completely checked out when things have got a bit tough. England 2011, Australia 2011-12, and now in this series. Dhoti and fletcher simply have to go. Noting has changed in three years with them in charge. I don't think they really care.

South Africa last year, New Zealand this year.... everywhere outside India.

Dhoni's been living off his world cup glory and LOI successes and whitewashing the worst Australian side I can remember at home. Heaven knows what Fletcher does apart from looking like Thumb Man in the pressers.

Chris Jordan has 3/7. And he's only bowled two balls straight all innings.

Jos Buttler's got some artistic talent. Or he can trace.

His picture of Nasser Hussain (for some charity or other):
