So they should be but how often has that been said about Watto? It should never have come to this with Haddit; he should have been retired after the summer.

I wouldn't argue at all, particularly the Twat. Another lbw for a pretty 30 will see the axe fall at last.

So cover the bet with the Aussies at $3.50 or hope for rain and the $15.00 payout?

I'm counting down the days until England have ruined him.
He's not got a good fitness record behind him. I'll be surprised if he gets through the entire series unscathed.
Yeah, a few ex-bowlers were wincing whilst watching him up close for the first time against NZ, convinced he was a serious back injury in waiting.
Not enough run up, not enough momentum going through the crease, his action is all body. They said. Not me. I said nothing. I'm not a grass.
Re: England v Australia, 1st Test, Cardiff, 8-12 July, 2015
Run ups are overrated. As are England's ex players and bowling coaches. Leave him be. If he gets an injury that is directly related to his run up/action, well, cross that bridge when they come to it. Injuries are just part and parcel of being a fast bowler. I don't like it when an army of coaches and biomechanists are put to work on a fast bowler after one injury.
Having said that, I wonder if they'll consider resting/rotating him out at Lord's IF we go there one up?

From being a traditional whipping ground for us Lords has been pretty good in recent years. That has to stop some time though of course...
I'm going crazy this morning, have never bet before and all these sites keep offering me free bets. If Australia and Djokovic win then drinks are on me.
And if either of those things don't happen I won't have spent much as most of these bets are free. Happy days.
Edit: Hmm, apparently I have a betfair account. Must have been twatted when I set that up.

They need to draw a line under his test career. Anything less than a century in this innings and he should be axed. Mitchell Marsh is being held back.

 @ MB's portraits ^^
What an absolutely great three days across at the Swalec in Cardiff.
Cricket : Brilliant.
Food: Â Enjoyable.
Totty : Doubly enjoyable.
Accommodation : Hardly ever saw the room!
Entertainment: Top drawer ... especially the Walkabout with what seemed like a million Aussies in it!
Beer : meh ... okay if you like Brains
Great craic ... now for England to finish the job ... though have to say, the way they batted towards
the close of Day 3 suggested they thought they had enough runs on the board!
I'm not so sure ... Australia could squeak this ... although the weather on Monday is thought to be dire.

To say Watson is Australia's equivalent of Ian Bell is an obvious comparison to make in terms of feelings on this forum - but it would be an insult to the Belf, who has actually produced some match and series-winning performances at Test level over the years.
TAYne POCson's biggest Ashes contribution was probably his demolition job on Kerrigan in a dead rubber two years ago. That was of more long term benefit to England, who found out what they needed to about the supposed next spinner off the rank.

I've got a bad feeling about this. Things not going England's way early on.

Four near dismissals in the first 6 overs ... no chance for Australia.

Hard to believe this is the same pitch as Aust bowled on (although it has been the first hour of play where wickets have fallen so far).
