Speaking of going to bed - it's that time over here.

Got to be up tomorrow to watch England's heroic victory abject collapse and defeat, followed by catching up on my recording of this test, followed by the full SA v Ind test.

Big day in front of the telly for me tomorrow - everything else can get fcuked.

Enjoy the day's play fellas.

I'll miss him. lumbering out at no.3, taking guard then doing his inevitable fist to bat review signal (followed by the equally inevitable baleful look and shaking of head as he drags himself reluctantly from the field, like an 8 year old boy being told to go to bed by his mum).

spot on L Number 2. you only missed the petulant bottom lip which always seemed to indicate 'hey I'm Watto - you can't give me out.'....doubt there has been a non cheating cricketer more disliked than Clotto in recent times

Are NZ not a quick short? Wagner, McClenaghan, or someone?

Maybe they could have winged Plunkett over, before he gathers cobwebs in the UAE.

I don't like GCS's little cross batted poke to midwicket. As Nein have shown, he is prone to top edge that stroke.

Crikey, GCS has had enough. He's just carted Bracewell back over his head for a massive six.

Decent 50 up to GCS. Man, he's got such steely wrists. He just flicked that and it flew through point.

Warner has added 23 at pace to Monty's zero since then. Laughing

But now the Banjo smacks a 4 through midwicket.

Aus sure motored in the last 90 mins. They were 0-8 after 7 overs and 35 odd minutes. Now they've just brought up their 100 opening stand. So that's better than a run a minutes 3/4 of the session.

Well, after a pensive first half hour, Aus would be delighted with 0-100 at Lunch.

Well done to Monty on a Gabba 50 after a very careful start. Nice to see him playing mostly straight.
