Australia v New Zealand, 2nd Test, Perth, 13-17 November, 2015
So Aus unchanged for Perth? Snoozies will have at least two changes for Southee and Neesham.

Puddle will be retained (Reeks - phhhhurt), and I can't see the selectors dumping Hazy just yet. He did seem a little anaemic though.

everyones done enough to stay for perth. although hazlewood needs to bowl better there to make it adelaide
hoping southee is fit. will be touch and go and maybe not wise to risk him but it would be a better game with him fit and playing

I see Koo was fined $8,000 for chucking a ball at Bracewell (and conceding 4 overthrows - punishment enough). At least the likes of Warnie can lighten up on Koo's "toughness" I suppose.

Did the Aussies scream like little girls for an obstructing the field dismissal?

Don't think Doogie was the Kiwi involved, he was safely back in the shed by then....it'd be hard for even a Bracewell to be annoying at that range.

Yeah, sorry Nerkles. It was Craig, who was throwing the bat.

There is no way Mark Craig is a test match number seven. Or a test match off spinner, for that matter. May as well give young Santner a go. If for nothing else than to set a new record for the most amount of Mitchells involved in a sporting contest. Mitchell McLenaghan may play as well, which would make things ridiculous.

That info was from the snoozer coach (except for my opinion about the southee fitness test)

Good idea to start at those kind of venues.
I think my 4th game of cricket was probably an inter-school match at a Veresdale Scrub cow paddock. Needless to say, there was cow manure all over the field & a patch of scotch thistles about 3 metres square on one side. If you managed to hit the ball into the thistle patch you could keep running until the opposing captain found someone stupid enough to fetch the ball.

Ah, good times, W. As a country lad, I too played on many cow paddocks bestrewn with thistles. Fortch, I was a good enough catcher so managed to bludge in the slips/gully for most of my "career".

Thanks to CY O'Connor most of the towns in the Wozzie wheatbelt have good grassed ovals to play on.
Although the Korrelocking oval had a nice patch of rock poking out in one of the forward pockets ...thankfully it was no longer in use when I started playing

There's a bit of a rumour going around that Mitchell Johnson may retire after this test match, or at the very latest at New Year's SCG test.
