Well Elmer did get a wicket early, but more hard work required tomorrow. A bit cooler so maybe won't be as tough.
Nein's Predicto-meter suggests Aus will win by 280 runs. Hmmm, I'm backing a draw.

is this predicto-meter (Nine's) based on anything, or just guesswork?

Allegedly they feed all the stats from all Aus v NZ games and all Aus games in Perth, and the Pedo-meter spits out a result based on the current position in the game. Predicts NZ will be out for 327, Aus will declare at 250 odd then roll the Sheep for 203.

I believe that up until recently, England used a similar machine to calculate the likely results of games, only theirs was called 'Peter Moores', and he tended to malfunction quite a lot.

Was the Moores method worse than Ted Dexter's Ouija Crystal Medium Mayan Tea Leaf method?

Well thank ****** NZ got Warner out.
Crazy 3rd umpire non-call on the Mitch Marsh no-ball decision (similar to the useless 3rd ump in the 1st Ind v SA test with 2 crappy calls when Jadeja was bowling).
Once again Williamson looks a very classy batsman.
Long way to go for NZ to get back in this - get Williamson and the game will surely be Aus's.

At least Taylor has got a start. Was beginning to wonder if his time was coming to a close. (Still a pity about Ryder.)
If Gapptulll continues to spark and splutter, can they call up Two Metre Peter? Or is he another busted flush?

Only the WACA? Brisbane was a road as well. Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney were all roads last season.
In summary- ALL Aus pitches are flat. Probably the flattest in the World these days in that they offer nothing much for either pace OR spin.
I think the Kookaburra ball is partly to blame as well. It's quickly becoming apparent that it's quality has dropped in recent times, and it's time for CA to end their contract with Kookaburra. It's been changed THREE times already in NZ's innings FFS. In NZ last season they had similar problems with it.
