India v South Africa, 3rd Test, Nagpur, 25-29 November, 2015
Rumblings about a bunsen for this (hopefully not washed out) Test. Colour me shocked.

Bannies won the toss and are batting. 0-48 after 12 overs. Has Stain gone home?

Ridiculous pitch.
I saw a couple of balls from Elgar in the first session and he was managing to extract the kind of extravagant turn with his weak as piss left arm rollers that Murali on a day 5 minefield would have been proud of.
BCCI if you don't want to play test cricket then just do away with it rather than turn it into a farce. Replace tests at home - and the time set aside for them - with bucketloads more ODIs and T20 orgasmafests.

Fair comment.
After the 1st test I stayed away from posting on this series. I see the Indian posters have done the same. Kudo's to them as well.

What Indian posters? Phooey. Terrible pitches, but SA have been terrible. Proddy, nervous Nellies. Whatevs. Were this England, I'd be wrecking them to f*ck.
Re: India v South Africa, 3rd Test, Nagpur, 25-29 November, 2015
First test pitch actually wasn't that bad.
2nd was a Bunsen.
This one is too.

My point would be that good teams don't complain about pitches, they win on them instead. For example, Australia at the turn of the decade, SA a couple of years ago.

Yep. But thepitch doctoring in banindia has become a disgrace.

Turned this on last night and, after the 0-50 start by India, was surprised to see SAf batting. Harmer FFS getting it to turn at right angles was funny.
SAf need to be more positive. They started their innings like they expected every ball to be a hand grenade. Elgar is a crab, who is van Zyl, and Amla looks a mere shell of the man who headed the ICC batting ranks not that long ago. SAf will need an 80 from ABdV to pass 150.

Mehyeah, get what you're saying, but India aren't the best at playing spin bowling currently. Moeen Ali did for them and has basically done for no one since. I'd be wondering about the okish spin attack and whether they could've done better. Morkel was outstanding though. Supreme
Re: India v South Africa, 3rd Test, Nagpur, 25-29 November, 2015
Aye, saw Morkel's 2nd spell on the highlights reel. Quality stuff.

The saddest thing is that this is the better of the two current series.
And South Africa's batting also needs a plan. Shit pitches aside, the batting has also been pathetic to say the least.

7/47
FFS
At least it is better than 5/12
If Duminy can dominate the scoring for the remainder of the innings, he might be a chance of breaking Bannerman's record.

God awful display of batting against the spinning ball by SAf. Sure it's turning but it's a slow pitch. Jiminy has been lucky, surviving a couple of chances, but Harmer has looked good. He's employing the sweep a lot.

Deary me, I've woofed Harmer. He's done a Mark Waugh and managed to deflect a ball from wide of the leg stump off his pad onto the stumps. Oh dear.

I dunno - call me old school but second day of a test should not be a time when only spinners get a bowl.
