I think Amla's days as captain may be numbered. Can't seem to inspire his team, and he can't buy a run.

Elgar is a fighter but lacks a bit of class and talent for this level, Faf looks shot, Duminy continues to under-achieve at test level, and Vilas is so far out of his depth it's embarrassing.

Jeez, SA really suck. I thought this was for once a much more equitable pitch? I'm not watching, so f*ck happened?

Amla is possibly to nice to captain. However there is a leadership crisis in the team. The insane policy of having three captains who all play in each form has been shown up for the idiocy that it is. Of course it could be that none of the 3 are great leaders,

He should but have always thought it is a bit anomalous to allow checking for no balls when there is no DRS available. It was a no ball and a poor decision but Kohli was still radically in the wrong.

Bit of the proverbial oasis in the desert in the context of this series. Still with pitches prepared for spin and Steyn and Philander missing anyway, one might have expected the Indian batsmen to fare better.
