Worrisome day for Aru. His team is definitely weakest of the top 3. But again, too much of a gap between the summit and the finish. Goodness this route sucks.

BTW, Lance Armstrong's podcast is pretty good. His race-craft is undeniable.

Warren Barguil wins the stage but Mikel Landa was very impressive finishing a close 4th. He made up a lot of time in the GC, now just over a minute behind. He is a team-mate of Froome but I would like to see him leading another team next year.

Very interesting first half of the stage. Unfortunately, too much distance between the summit and finish made it an okay second half.

Fwiw, landa has been linked to a move away from sky.... To movistar. Hopefully he'll have better luck with the Giro there.

At the moment, Froome seems to be around $1.36 to $1.38 to win the tour.
