Yeah, 320-odd might be tricky from here.

But imagine had you not reprieved Root so royally.
Good effort from Morkel in this match so far after being under some pressure.
Gawd, you really are captain obvious. But congrats you have now become more repetitive than horrie.
States the person who has said less of any real worth in however many million posts than any person since the forum was invented. Red talks sense unlike Taipan who#s little more than a dull troll.

So it's 331 to win for SAf.
Nige is a 25 carat bore.

What a thrashing ... wasn't expecting that.
Who comes in for South Africa ... du Plessis and ?

10 wickets + 87 in 1st innings. Very useful contribution by Moeen.
Quality win by England. For "Quality" read "Comprehensive snotting".

Morris? Or would they gamble with Olivier?
Is "Mats" okay for 2nd Test? His hand got a hell of a beating.
Maybe they could break the bank to smuggle AB back in?

A strange Test in a number of ways. Not least, the amount of spin at Lord's.
Horrie will soon be on about "doctored pitches" again, no doubt. (Tahir drafted in?)

The main "doctoring" seemed to be by the Ostrich as he bowled around the wicket. He dug some deep holes for the spinners to exploit (both his SAf teammates and the Pom spinners).

He will have to fill the African quota, even though he's not the best option. He doesn't look up to test cricket.
Clearly a great toss to win, but SA didn't help themselves in both innings by dropping catches. They could have been chasing a lot fewer runs.
So does Duminy or De Bruyn make way for Faf? As a matter of fairness it should be the former, to satisfy the quota it has to be the latter.
Interesting article running on ESPN about the number of white SA cricketers moving to ply their trade in England. Maybe this partly explains the result. England weaken the opposition without even having to bowl a ball.
Was surprised that Ali did so well.
