Everybody's talkin about Harry Nilsson. Century on Sheffield Shield debut having previously played a FC match for a Cricket Australia XI against the great unwashed. Son of Tim Nielsen!

Marty's having a great game.
Where's CCC to talk him up as the next Joe Dawes?

Lachlan 'Sultan' Pfeffer is probably not going to be around the QLD squad long enough to justify that obvious nickname.'
Although I note he has the capacity to keep, and did so for his state at junior level, so perhaps he'll get another chance if something happens to Peirson.

I know his family very well. His grandparents have lived in WideWallyWorld since the late 60s & his mother & uncles were all brought up here. One of his uncle calls him Professor Pfeffer (or is that his brother?) because he is a schoolteacher (& it is a tonguetwister). Lachy has hit 5 centuries in first grade this season as well as one in Future League so I am sure the selectors still have a high opinion of him. He looked quite solid in the first innings when he made 36. The bowlers have been getting considerable swing today so batting would not have been easy.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2017-18
Feldman did attend the Academy 5-6 years ago, I believe, but he seems to have slipped to the bottom of the ladder. It's easier to list the pace bowlers who've been around for a year or two and who've been of fair performance but who have NOT yet represented Australia than to list those who have.

From the wrong state?
.... not that I would consider either of the Queenslanders up to international standard.

Bird & Bell both off the ground injured. I guess Bailey had no choice than to toss him the ball.
