Re: Australian Domestic Season 2017-18
Yay for Tassie. Evens up the competition a bit, too.
Bird is very unlucky to have been narrowly beaten to a Test spot so often.

Aye. Bird has taken fifteen wickets in his last two games.
Re: Australian Domestic Season 2017-18
It's good to see Silk, Doran, Doolan all back in some sort of form after long lean spells. The side looks useful with Bailey, McDermott, Webster, Bird, Rainbird, and Bell.
I notice also that the useless POC Wade took <1 catches in this game.
The other two games are meandering, which probably helps Tassie overall.

With no update I'm guessing that's what happened? What as the eventual margin? I'll take a stab at 7 wickets

Well done to the Tozzies. Bah to the Spivs.
If not for the combined current brilliance of the Aus quicks, Tweety would surely be in the Aus XI.

The right question to ask is how many chances did he miss. Of course we know Putrid has missed 3 chances in two Tests, tho one miss is unfairly debited to Seasick.
Excellent work by the Twosies to knock off the Spivs. Well done too by the Worriers who salvaged a comfortable draw. It seems the Qbilly pitch was a road.
Unfortunately for Bird, purple just keeps doing enough to keep him out. Even so, the Spivs would go bonkers if Purple was dropped.
Poor effort yesterday from the cellar dwelling Vix to not bowl the Worriers out. Good knocks from Gotch, mytyt and NoShow. Useful bowling from Dutchy2, mainly in the first innings. No Show despite his effort in Bannieville is not selectable in the Test side. He needs to produce a 1200 run Shield season and take 20 + wickets to warrant consideration for Test selection. It seems he has lost all confidence in his bowling..
Of course the performance bar for the Steak Knives is set much lower than for No Show or any other cricketer who dons whites anywhere.

Indeed.
I reckon he's set up fine to be a professional larrikin former test cricket in the mould of Merv of Rodney Hogg. He just needs to get his routine right and clearly the rug will be a big part of it.

He and Nashy might make a good comedy duo.

In good news for the lad and daily and mates, Will Pucovski seems to have got over concussion issues and has resumed grade cricket. The 20 year old possesses a heap of talent.
Meanwhile the Vics have named a squad with two debs for the match v the Barrels at AO. Should be a cracker.
