Well nothing I have seen here convinces me that day/night tests are a good idea.

SA didn't get much of a workout for India. They should have batted again to prolong proceedings.

Well they didn't. Actually had they had a better workout, their attack may have better dealt with the Pandya onslaught.

Well they didn't. Actually had they had a better workout, their attack may have better dealt with the Pandya onslaught.
Also their top order might have been better prepared to counter good swing bowling.
