lardbucket wrote:We were 'talking' about fentanyl the other day - can't remember where - but it is probably appropriate to put here the latest information on Tom Petty. It turns out he died of an accidental fentanyl overdose, also; not a heart attack.
In his case it seems there was a combination of fentanyl patches and oral fentanyl preparations that in combination with Xanax and other sedative drugs inhibited his respiration, fatally.
It is thought Dolores O'Riordan died from an O/D.

Rapper dies at 27
"Fredo Santana, rapper and one of the pioneers of Chicago’s drill movement, has died at the age of 27.
...
Santana, born Derrick Coleman, suffered serious health problems throughout last year, and was hospitalized for liver and kidney failure in October. Houston rapper Maxo Kream was the first to break the news with an Instagram post, followed by close associates like Young Chop and Lil Durk."
------------------------------------------
Mr Dog and I (in the past, but I went for a rally driver this year) are on the right track picking rappers as our U30 noms, but we can't nail the right ones!!!!

Re: Celebrity Death List MMXVIII/The Death Thread 2018
Bobby Moore and Alan Ball are both long gone of course - did a quick Wiki check and all the others to play in the final are still alive, including both Charltons, Gordon Banks and Geoff Hurst. The non-playing squad members were all still alive to receive their belated medals in 2009, but Jimmy A is the fourth to die since.
Seems to me they have been a relatively resilient lot. They were not a young team in 1966.

A quick look says some of them are not doing well. Banks has cancer. Wilson, Stiles and Peters have Alzheimer's

By way of comparison, less than half the England cricket team that played a Test against the West Indies a week after the World Cup final are still around.

That would have been an old team in 66.
Looking at the football team it wasn't that old.
