"Fredo Santana, rapper and one of the pioneers of Chicago’s drill movement, has died at the age of 27.

Santana, born Derrick Coleman, suffered serious health problems throughout last year, and was hospitalized for liver and kidney failure in October. Houston rapper Maxo Kream was the first to break the news with an Instagram post, followed by close associates like Young Chop and Lil Durk."

Bobby Moore and Alan Ball are both long gone of course - did a quick Wiki check and all the others to play in the final are still alive, including both Charltons, Gordon Banks and Geoff Hurst. The non-playing squad members were all still alive to receive their belated medals in 2009, but Jimmy A is the fourth to die since.

Seems to me they have been a relatively resilient lot. They were not a young team in 1966.
